An in-house ad agency serving the global marketing team
As the content lead for an in-house marketing team working with Global Business Marketing partners all around the world, I oversaw the work of five writers in two locations in order to ensure that all work adhered to Facebook’s brand guidelines.
The materials my team and I created included event names and themes, event invitations and websites, blog posts, white papers, campaigns, videos, landing pages, presentations, success stories, and more.
A fun project was a poster named Campaign Land (a parody of the game Candy Land). The purpose was to find a fun way to walk stakeholders through the various stages of mounting a marketing campaign. (It also actually works as a board game.)
Frameworks and guidelines
As the lead for the Guild SMB team, I created a “how we work” doc to introduce us to teams and stakeholders, and to set expectations in terms of how long work would take
I also defined and developed content strategy for the entire department and created the first writing guidelines for Facebook writers
